Work every other weekend.
Hours vary - 5:00a - 5:30p for Charge Shifts and 6:30a - 7:00p for clinical shifts.
Experience:
Three years ACUTE Required
Prior experience supervising others.
Clinical experience on Both Pediatric and Adult Respiratory Care is essential.
Education:
RESP THER AA Required
RESP THER TECH Required
Licensure:
RRT Required
Specific Skills Required:
Advanced respiratory assessment and evaluation
Skills as identified on Pay for Skills grid
Perform diagnostic testing
Description:
The Registered Respiratory Therapist Lead is a clinical professional who utilizes
the department's scope of services to access, plan, implement, and evaluate patient
care as an integral member of the healthcare team.
The Registered Respiratory Therapist delivers Respiratory Care Services under the order of the physician and in
accordance with protocols established by the hospital, other health care providers,
or the board and functions in situations of unsupervised patient contact requiring
individual judgment.
Functions as the Resident Expert proficient in all clinical respiratory procedures. Serves as a resource
