Description:Pharmacy Technician Opportunity Available in a Hospital! Full-Time Weekends and Holidays Included. Assists the pharmacist, under supervision, in preparation of IV admixtures using sterile technique. Assists the pharmacist, under supervision, in preparation of medications for dispensing. Should have 2 years of pharmacy technician experience, including IV experience. Must be able to perform specialty pharmacy technician functions as directed in all Martin Memorial Health Systems pharmacy services areas (including IV, OR, outpatient pharmacy, oncology, etc). Must demonstrate competency in these areas by passing pharmacy technician II exam and demonstrating proficiency on the job. Must perform all job functions as required at optimal levels to ensure quality patient care. Data entry and customer service skills are required. Pharmacy technician certification preferred. Consideration will be given on an individual basis to candidate based on completion of an approved formal vocational training program, certification, and experience.
