Contact Luke Jansen at 1-800-681-2056 or email to lukej@medicalconnections.com •Conduct or delegate the assessment and reassessment of patients, including updating care plans and interpreting patient needs, while adhering to Company, physician, and/or health facility procedures and policies. Manage the assignment of clinical associates. •Coordinate communication between team members and attending physicians or clinical associates to ensure the appropriateness of care and outcome planning. Ensure compliance with third party requirements through review of documentation and care coordination activities. •Interpret standards, company policies, and procedures to ensure compliance with external regulatory authorities and ensure that clinical associate documentation meets internal standards. •Consult with third party representatives regarding patient financial responsibility, service authorization, and reimbursement procedures. Negotiate reimbursement levels and facilitate the process. •Participate in the recruitment/interviewing/selection/orientation of team members, and evaluate their performance relative to job goals and requirements. Coach staff, recommend in-service education programs, and ensure adherence to internal policies and standards.
