10 hour night shift Mon - Thursday
NO CALL, NO HOLIDAYS, NO WEEKENDS.
This position will provide coverage in the PACU after hours and may be asked to float to other critical care areas if not needed in the PACU.
Under the general supervision of the Unit Manager, or Director, the PACU Nurse is responsible for the recovery nursing care of the pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric surgical patient.
The Recovery Nurse delivers care through the use of the nursing process in a manner that is cost effective without compromising quality of care.
Expected practice behaviors include assessment, planning, implementation of recovery interventions, and evaluation.
Current Colorado RN license required.
CPAN highly desirable, current ACLS and PALS desired.
