The Director is responsible for patient, physician and employee satisfaction by directing and coordinating nursing care, maintaining required staffing and acting as a liaison between the hospital administration and staff.
Manage and coordinate a specific unit or nursing department.
Direct and supervise functions and activities, interpret policies, schedule, discipline, procedure standards, and regulations.
Perform duties in any nursing capacity as needed.
Requirements:
Bachelor of Science in Nursing, Masters preferred
Two to three years management experience required
Three years of experience in a hospital or clinical experience required
Licenses / Certifications:
Registered Nurse License
BLS required
ACLS required
